Main Characteristics

Corrosion and Chemical Resistant
The rich layer of polyester or vinyl ester resins will protect the grating panels from a wide range of acids and caustics. Our high resin content ensures our gratings to perform well in even the harsh corrosive environments.

Fire Retardant
All our SS molded gratings are made to the standard of Class I of ASTM E 84 Tunnel Test with flame spread of 25 or less, and 30 seconds or less burn time per ASTM D 635.

Super-Strong
Due to our unique design, we can lay as much as 42% glass content in a panel. As most of the strength come from the reinforcement such as fiberglass, the more fiberglass content, the stronger the grating is. We can also vary the glass content according to custom needs. Our in-house tests show our load-bearing capacity is much higher against other manufacturers' deflection tables.

Impact Resistant
Due to the integral one-piece structure, especially the many interwoven layers of fiberglass beneath the grating surface, grating panels will not deform easily compared with steel gratings.

Anti-Slip
The naturally formed meniscus or concave surface can provide adequate slip resistance. We have embedded grit or regular silicon grit surfaces available for extra slip or fall resistance.

Low Maintenance and Nice Look
Color pigment is blended into the resins all over the grating panels, there is an uniform color as a whole and will not need painting at all. By adding anti-UV additive, gratings can be protected from violet light damage.

Light Weight and Easy Fabrication
Our molded grating is usually 1/3 weight of steel grating, it is easier to carry around by one or two people during installation and fabrication. It requires less foundation support and less heavy equipment to handle.

Non-Magnetic, Non-sparking, Non-Conductive
These build-in features allow our gratings to be used in various environments where the opposite could be fatal.
